Blue Monkey Brewery Operative – Full-time, Permanent role.
Blue Monkey Brewery is an award-winning brewery based in Giltbrook, Nottingham.
We have a passion for brewing high quality and unique beers for both cask, keg and craft and pride ourselves on these and our outstanding customer service.
With our growing team we are looking for the right candidate to assist in producing, packing and selling these exceptional products.
Due to our continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a Brewery Operative to join our team.
The role’s primary responsibilities include assisting the brewers and team with day-to-day upkeep of the brewery environment, cask & keg preparation & washing, and packaging of our products along with many other varied duties.
Hours of Work: 8am – 4.30pm Monday – Friday. Occasional overtime and flexibility may be required.
28 Days annual leave per year (including Bank Holidays)
Main Purpose of Role:
Cask Cleaning & Preparation,
Packaging of our beers in cask, keg and small pack (can & bottle),
Upkeep of the brewery environment – warehouse, and site,
Assisting with our brewery shop.
Personal Specification:
Essential you have a positive attitude, great people skills, are well organised with an attention to cleanliness and detail.
A team player but also able to work independently.
A full clean driver’s license.
A passion for beer is preferable, but not essential as long as you are keen to learn.
A counterbalance forklift licence would be desirable.
A knowledge and understanding of DIY and general maintenance is a bonus.
An understanding of how-to set-up bars, keep and serve beer would be desirable, but training would be provided if not.
This is a manual job and requires heavy lifting so you will need a good level of fitness.
